Wildlife & Bird Photography at the Martin Mere WWT – What could be better than walking around the bustling wetlands with your camera photographing the birds and wildlife during the Summer Months. Our third wildlife and bird photography workshop this year is designed to help you get exploring the Martin Mere wetland paradise. This Welshot photographic workshop will have you making and creating some stunning images in the peaceful reedbeds, home to bearded tits and Cetti’s Warblers and Marsh Harriers in flight. Let’s not forget those graceful Flamingos and the cheeky Otters either. Learn how to capture movement, capture birds and wildfowl being fed at this wonderful wetland area based in Burscough, near Ormskirk.

Our first Walking with Your Camera – A Guided Photo Walk with Helen Iles for 2022 and it’s a Welshot Mini Module with Masterclass – on this photographic event which takes place in the stunning Bodnant Gardens in North Wales we are going to help you get the best from your camera. In our Welshot master-class you will learn the photographic technique of ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) and learn how to compose your images. Walking with your camera is about being in the great outdoors and capturing the surroundings in your camera. From long exposures to abstract water compositions to macro and close-up photography, capturing the flora and fauna, this day has it all for the photographer.

Winter Fashion in Liverpool – Off Camera Flash Photography. This is a day of photography that will have you and your camera running red hot. Our stunning Models will be dressed in ‘On Trend’ clothing and will be ready to pose for you in the historic backdrop of the Albert Dock, and other nearby surrounding locations. Shooting on location is fun and this event is guaranteed to get the photographic juices flowing. Your masterclass will be about learning how to shoot using gels and off camera flash.

Llandudno, the perfect location for a Welshot photo-walk with a twist. Grab you cameras, we are off on a treasure hunt with a difference. Known as the Queen of the Welsh Resorts, the ever-popular seaside town of Llandudo in North Wales, is a hive of history and memories with connections to Lewis Carroll who wrote Alice in Wonderland. Llandudno, home to a mining settlement turned thriving tourist hotspot and is famous for its Victorian architecture and stunning scenery and seaside promenade make for a perfect location for the photographer who wants to get out and about with their camera.

The beautiful Italian village of Portmeirion in Porthmadog, North Wales is the venue for this Summer Welshot Photographic Mini Module and Masterclass. From learning how to shoot for High Dynamic images (HDR) to capturing the colour, textures and shapes of this amazing venue in your camera

Built by Sir William Clough-Ellis between 1925 and 1975, he brought the glamour and the beauty of the Italian Riviera here to North Wales and this will be were we will put our cameras to the challenge of capturing the spirit and essence of Portmeirion.
