Fine Art Floral Photography & Editing Techniques at the Welshot Creative Hub – At this photographic workshop you will spend the Morning learning how to choose your flowers, props, style, compose, light your subject, and use your camera to make your photograph. You will also learn how to make your own textures and backgrounds for your fine art photographs.
Astro photography – How to shoot the night sky. Join the team from Welshot for an Evening of night photography. From low-light, long exposures to how to photograph the night sky this Welshot photographic event at Cwm Idwal in Snowdonia will keep you and your camera busy taking stunning images from before sunset to long after the sun has gone down. You will learn how to make long exposures to capture the lake and sky as well as clouds and dramatic mountain landscape in low light conditions. For those who would like to learn the art of light painting, we will be lighting up the picturesque bridge that leads up to the lake.
Creative Photography – Charge your batteries, grab your camera and head to the vibrant City of Liverpool for this Welshot Roving Photographic Academy Evening. This photography workshop is going to have you and your camera getting creative capturing those city and riverscape images. You will learn to look for lead in lines, reflections, and details galore. You will be learning to ‘See’ images in Black & White, how to make the most of whatever the weather and light throws at you. From picture in puddles (if it rains) to long, creative exposures. From wide Cityscape vistas to getting those close-up macro photographs. As the sun sets over the opposite side of the River Mersey the hope will be to catch a colourful sunset.
It’s Day Two of our Action Photography Workshop (WelshotRewards Day) and we are back in, what must be, the most stunningly located race circuit in the UK. Today it is all about learning how to capture classic motorcycles racing around one of the most picturesque circuits in the country. During the day there will be plenty of opportunity for 1:1 tuition, learning how to master the art of panning. During the day you will visit the pit area, helping you to get up close to the motorcycles being prepared for racing. As a photographer, this gives you an opportunity to build up a story of the day in photos.

Wildlife & Bird Photography at the Martin Mere WWT – What could be better than walking around the bustling wetlands with your camera photographing the birds and wildlife during the Summer Months. Our third wildlife and bird photography workshop this year is designed to help you get exploring the Martin Mere wetland paradise. This Welshot photographic workshop will have you making and creating some stunning images in the peaceful reedbeds, home to bearded tits and Cetti’s Warblers and Marsh Harriers in flight. Let’s not forget those graceful Flamingos and the cheeky Otters either.
