Always a firm favourite of photographic delegates, this themed photo-shoot: Recreate A Grand Master Painting with Welshot will be no different. For the first time we will be using the St Mary's Creative Space in the historic City of Chester for a full day event and we will have at least six mains studio flash sets, complete with props, models wearing a stunning array of costumes and mood/vision boards to help you recreate those paintings in your camera. For our 2022 Recreate a Grand Masters themed photo-shoot, we will also be throwing in some contemporary paintings and still-life photography for those who would like to capture something a little different.

Film Noir Photography - a style or genre of cinematographic film marked by a mood of pessimism, fatalism, and menace. Originally applied (by a group of French critics) to American thriller or detective films made in the period 1944–54 and to the work of directors such as Orson Welles, Fritz Lang, and Billy Wilder, at this themed photo-shoot by Welshot you will be using Off Camera Flash as well as Studio Mains Flash using elements such as cynical heroes (Your models), stark lighting effects and learning how to use lighting modifier, special effects and props to tell a story in your photography of intrigue and mystery.

Using natural light, and off camera flash you will learn how to photograph your models in camera. You will learn how to capture movement, how to pose and work with your dancers in an urban setting to ensure you get the very best image to take home. The Shortest Night Photographic Adventure - visiting the beautiful landscape of Anglesey and Snowdonia in North Wales, is a firm Welshot favourite and always has our delegates booking on the next years 'Shortest Night' adventure before the bacon butties (included) have been eaten at the end of the event. The not so short, night of photography, which is always held as close to the 21st June as possible starts the event with a gourmet picnic (included) by the side of Llyn Padarn (Llanberis Lake) deep in the heart of Snowdonia before moving on for a marathon photographic session visiting numerous locations. Seventeen hours (Yes, we can see the irony!) of photographic fun, friendship and getting creative with your camera will have you shooting everything from star trails to long exposures, from architecture to land and seascapes.
