It’s back! One of our most popular events with our Welshot Members – The Three Lighthouse Challenge on Anglesey – A WelshotRewards Day. A very full day of fun, friendship and photography. From sunrise at Penmon to sunset, at either the South Stack Lighthouse or Llanddwyn Island depending on conditions you are guaranteed to capture a wide variety of dramatic images. From lighthouses to big skies, what more could the photographer want? Our Three Lighthouse Challenge will see us circumnavigating the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales with our camera – getting creative with lens balls, long exposures and trying our hand at macro (clos-up) photography . Whether you are a beginner to photography, a seasoned enthusiast or someone who just likes being in the company of like-minded people, this day of photography will help YOU to get the best out of YOUR camera.
This WelshotRewards Day for Welshot Academy Members has it all, to help you make and create some fantastic images and get the best from your camera. We can guarantee that you will get some incredible photos, learn a ton of photography skills and techniques, make some new friends, and have a load of laughs – all you need is a bunch of WelshotRewards to book your place.

Whether you are a beginner to photography, a photographer who would like to try a new genre, learn a new technique or skill, or, a more advanced photographer who wants to build their image portfolio, you will be made welcome, and we would love to help you get the best out of your camera.
The Welshot Team will be at hand throughout this The Three Lighthouse Challenge on Anglesey – A WelshotRewards Day to assist and help you get the best from your camera, so you can leave at the end of this session with memory cards full of beautiful photographs and great memories having learned a thing or three about photography and your camera.
Please Note: No food or drink is included in the cost of this event. This is a fully outdoor event so please make sure you (and your camera) come dressed appropriately. If Welshot decides to postpone this event due to bad weather conditions, you will be given several options regarding your booking.

You Will Learn
- How to use your camera settings and functions

The Schedule
- 05.30 – Meet at Penmon for sunrise – 05:52
- 10.00 – Breakfast in Beaumaris (not included)
- We will then, depending on circumstances, head to either South Stack or Llanddwyn Island first.
- 20:16 – Sunset
Please Bring
- Camera and lenses suitable for this event – Wide angle if possible or standard zoom / Macro or preferred landscape lens
- Spare Batteries and Memory Card
- Tripod / Cable release if you have one
- Refreshments – Snacks or drinks if you think you will require during the event
- A list of ideas, help, questions etc that you would like to discuss with Welshot Team Leaders
