What Will Happen

At this Action Photography – Power Bikes at Ty Croes Racetrack – WelshotRewards Day event you will learn how to use your camera to capture some great images and take in the atmosphere of the Anglesey Circuit.  With Power Bikes as your subject, you will learn all the techniques needed to capture the movement and speed of the bikes whilst they race around one of the most picturesque circuits in the country. During the day there will be plenty of opportunity for 1:1 tuition, learning how to master the art of panning and which shutter speeds to use to get the image you want to create.  During the day you will visit the pit area, helping you to get up close to the motorcycles being prepared for racing. As a photographer, this gives you an opportunity to build up a story of the day in photos.   

During the day, at the Ty Croes racing circuit there will be many races of varying styles enabling you to capture different types of bikes on the circuit. Below is a guide as to the type of machines which will be racing.

The Welshot Team will be at hand throughout this Action Photography – Power Bikes at Ty Croes Racetrack – WelshotRewards Day to assist and help you get the best from your camera, so you can leave at the end of this session with memory cards full of beautiful photographs and great memories having learned a thing or three about action photography and your camera.

Please Note: Entrance fee of £15.00 is the responsibility of the delegate.  No food or drink is included in the cost of this event. This is a fully outdoor event – please make sure you (and your camera) come dressed appropriately as this event will be going ahead regardless of the weather.

• Camera and lenses suitable for this event – Lenses, Your kit lens or short zoom (18-55mm) for paddock work. For photographing at the Circuit, you will require a longer focal length, something in the region of 200mm to 300mm is adequate. If you require any advice, please email us.
• Spare (Fully Charged) Batteries and Memory Card
• Admission to the circuit is the responsibility of the participant £15 at the entrance gate.
• Refreshments – Snacks or drinks you think you will require during the event but Welshot will be eating in the café.
• A list of ideas, help, questions etc that you would like to discuss with Welshot Team Leaders
