What Will Happen
Creative Lighting Techniques at the Welshot Creative Hub in Llandudno, North Wales is a day specifically deigned to help you look at, and use, photographic lighting in more creative ways. From studio mains flash lighting to off camera flash, from learning how to use gels, to projected shapes onto your background. From using one light to using four lights, from learning how to use different types of reflectors, modifiers and off camera flash – this day will have it all for those who are interested in studio portrait photography. This day is perfect for the beginner and more advanced photographer who would like to capture a specific look in their camera for their portfolio.
Our Creative Lighting Techniques at the Welshot Creative Hub in Llandudno will give you a chance to learn, be creative and with the right amount of theory and practice, that will help you to boost your imagination, gain more confidence in a studio environment and make some stunning images for your portfolio at the same time.

Please Note: Refreshments and a light buffet lunch is included in the cost of this event and this is an indoor studio environment but if the weather plays ball then we may run the off camera flash session outdoors.

- How to use coloured gels in your portraiture photography
- Which modifiers you should have in your kit for on location shoots and working with gels

- How to shoot full length portraiture using gels – and not just head shots.

The Schedule
- 10:20am – Arrive at the Welshot Creative Hub ( located at 16 Trinity Square ) An email will be sent to you before the event
- 10:30am – Welcome – Introductions, handouts and how the day will work
- 10:45am – Photography starts
- 1.00pm – Light buffet lunch is included in the cost of this event over a Q&A session
- 1: 45pm – Photography resumes
- 4:00pm – Finis

- Camera and lenses suitable for this event – any focal length lens of between 35mm and 100mm or standard kit zoom
- Spare (Fully Charged) Batteries and Memory Card
