What Will Happen
Dancing on Location – Off Camera Flash Photography. Learn how to balance flash with natural lighting as you capture the movement of classically trained dancers and the award winning street dance troupe Autonomy in your camera. From long exposures to posing your models and dancers. From capturing movement to making dramatic images for your portfolio – this Welshot Academy Evening in Chester will have it all regardless of your level or skill.
Whether you are a beginner to photography, a photographer who would like to try a new genre, learn a new technique or skill or a more advanced photographer who wants to build their image portfolio, you will be made welcome and we would love to help you get the best out of your camera.

The Welshot Team will be at hand throughout this Dancing on Location – Off Camera Flash Photograph event in Chester to assist, help, support and guide you, so you can leave at the end of this session with memory cards full of beautiful photographs and great memories.
Please Note: No food or drink is included in the cost of this event, and this is a fully outdoor event – please make sure you come dressed appropriately. If Welshot decides to postpone this event due to bad weather conditions you will be given several options regarding your booking.
Welshot will be keeping within Welsh Government regulations and recommendations regarding the Coronavirus and Covid 19 Regulations, and we expect our delegates to do the same

- 19:00 – Meet at Chester Crowne Plaza – Welcome, introductions, handouts if applicable
- 19:10 – Photography Group session one
- 20:30 – Comfort break – No refreshments are included in this event
- 20:45 – Photography – Group session two
- 22:00 – Finish

- Camera and lenses suitable for this event – Standard kit zoom lens or equivalent / Prime lens
- Spare (Fully Charged) Batteries and Memory Card
- Appropriate clothing for you and protection for your camera – This is an outside event
- Refreshments – Snacks or drinks you think you will require during the event
- A list of ideas, help, questions etc that you would like to discuss with Welshot Team Leaders
